The Department of Fashion Design and Textiles Studies at Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) recently received a generous donation of busts from an alumnus Mr. Joseph Abanga, also known as Jay Abanga Fashion (JAFgh).

Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has made a significant stride towards international collaboration, marking a pivotal moment in its pursuit of academic excellence and global engagement. The institution recently hosted a delegation from London South Bank University (LSBU), led by Prof. Chris Harty, Dean of Built Environment and Architecture as well as Prof. George Ofori, Director of Research at the School of the Built Environment, to explore avenues for cooperation and academic exchange.

In a move aimed at fostering academic collaboration and enhancing technical education, Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has formalised a partnership with Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

In a commendable display of solidarity and community support, Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has received a significant boost towards its plan of enhancing campus security. A delegation from the University of Media, Arts and Communication- UniMAC (Ghana Institute of Languages-GIL) Kumasi campus, led by Mrs. Angelina Ofei Ayim who is the Acting Principal, and Mrs. Asante Kodu, an Assistant Registrar, recently paid a courtesy call on the University Management.

In keeping with its core values of integrity, pacesetting, commitment and equal opportunities, Kumasi Technical University is indeed setting the pace in postgraduate studies to further solidify its position as the leader in higher education.

KsTU has received a policy approval from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to run PhD in Applied Statistics.

Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) heralded its 70th anniversary celebrations with a momentous event held in the New Great Hall on Friday, 5th April 2024. The ceremony was mainly about the unveiling of the official logo commemorating seven decades of unwavering commitment, growth and a rich legacy of excellence.

In a significant step forward for its Faculty of Engineering, Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) recently offered a two-day free training programme on Aspen HYSYS, a leading software application used in the oil and gas industry. The initiative was spearheaded by the Oil and Gas Engineering Department of KsTU and it was meant to equip faculty members with the current industry practices as well as tools needed to stay competitive.
